FAQ

How is your anonymity protected?
Your IP address is never stored and is therefore not accessible to the company, the IT service provider, or the case handlers.

After submitting your report, you will immediately receive a Case ID and a password. Please note both and keep them secure. Please make a note of both and keep them confidential. With this case ID and your password, you can log in again later and enter into an anonymous dialogue with the case handlers. The password cannot be restored or changed afterwards.
What happens after a report is submitted?
If the report is substantiated, we conduct an investigation to the extent possible for us and take the necessary measures.
What information does the reporting person receive?
The reporting person receives prompt confirmation that the report has been received. After the investigation has been completed, the reporting person will be informed about the outcome and any resulting consequences.
Am I protected when making reports?
The content of the report and the communication with the reporting office on the IT platform is protected against unauthorized viewing to a high standard. Easyline can be used completely anonymously. If you disclose your personal data, it will be accessible to our case handlers, the case handlers of our independent consultant Compliance Kompakt (CK), and any other case handlers called in during an internal investigation to clarify the situation.

It cannot be ruled out that we may have to disclose to the affected individuals the source from which their personal data originated. If we know the identity of the reporting person, the person who is the subject of the report may learn who accused them. Therefore, we advise you to submit reports anonymously via Easyline.

Please note that your IP address cannot be traced and is not stored. You can obtain further information on anonymity, the procedure and data protection directly on our platform.
Are there any additional external reporting channels?
The German Whistleblower Protection Act requires public authorities to establish external reporting channels in addition to the internal reporting offices provided by employers.
A central external reporting office has been set up at the Federal Office of Justice (BfJ).

Additional external reporting systems exist at Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), and the Federal Cartel Office.

The federal states are free to set up their own external reporting offices for reports concerning the respective state administration and local authorities.

Furthermore, there are corresponding reporting procedures for reports to institutions, bodies, and other agencies of the European Union. These include external reporting channels of the Commission, the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).

Complaints or reports under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act can be submitted to the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA).

Reporting persons are encouraged to use internal reporting channels first, provided no retaliation is feared and the matter can be resolved internally.
